Advanced Event Designs Terms of Service & Delivery Details Overview:It is the intention of Advanced Event Designs to provide customers with an efficient service, to be transparent and moral in our approach to dealing with our customers and to comply with all current regulations relating to distance selling (mail-order) where applicable. If there are any problems in connection with your order, we will endeavour to keep you fully informed and take any action possible. We don’t sell, rent or otherwise share any of your data or information with anyone except for when you choose to have items delivered. On placing your order will will provide your name, address and a contact number to our courier company but that is only to ensure a quick, trouble free delivery of your items. If you choose not to receive our electronic newsletter by email, we will honour this request. We respect your privacy, however during the process of placing an order and receiving goods and services from us, we will send you emails which will keep you informed of progress and act as a confirmation of your order. Your credit card details are never stored by us in any way. We only use 3rd party professional companies such as google checkout, paypal and streamline to process your card details who adopt ‘industry-best’ levels of security to protect you and us from fraud, in accordance with all current legal regulations. We take fraud very seriously and if we feel that any transaction is in any way suspicious, in accordance with the UK banking regulations, we will have no other choice but to inform the relevant police force of any such fraud suspicions. Stock statusmay be shown on our website for certain product ranges. This is a simple calculation of the stock held in our warehouse and the stock held by either the manufacturer any suppliers used by Advanced Event Designs. Sometimes when a supplier cannot supply this information they are asked for an estimation. Stock status is usually quite accurate but if your order is extremely urgent please contact us before you place and order as we will be able to confirm stock and delivery details for you over the phone. If goods are returned to us, or in the case of Royal Mail, destroyed because the delivery person / courier company was unable to get a signature, you may have to pay a repeat delivery charge or restocking fees at the managers decision should you wish to cancel. Where the item may have been destroyed by Royal Mail you may be asked to pay in full one again. Finally, we are only human! We always try to do our best, but if we do make a mistake, let us know and we’ll do our very best to put it right. Delivery InformationSubject to stock, Internet and telephone orders placed and, providing your payment has been cleared will be processed and despatched with in 7-10 working days on our standard 2/3 day delivery service (next day and saturday delivery available for an additional charge). Orders placed on weekends (After 3pm Friday through to Sunday night) will be processed the following Monday (excluding bank holidays) for delivery subject to stock. Please Note: Process and despatch time scales are as a guide only and we will not be held accountable for delays or loss of business due to your product not being delivered on time. Returns PolicyWe are a trade supplier and all the products we sell are for "Professional Use Only". Consumer regulations including the "distance-selling regulations" do not apply to any sale from Advanced Event Designs. We do not offer products on a trial basis. If you place your order without contacting us first, we shall assume that you understand the compatibility and suitability of the products you are ordering. We do not provide support for products not supplied and purchased through Advanced Event Designs even if our website states they are compatible with our products. None faulty products:
If you change your mind about what you have purchased, you may return your purchase IF UNOPENED for a refund less our restocking fee and delivery costs at our standard rates. Return carriage is your own responsibility. The goods must be UNOPENED.We do not accept returned goods that have been opened, as once a product's internal or external packaging has been opened, it is illegal for us to attempt to sell it as brand new. Under certain circumstances we may accept back a opened-box product, however, there will be a restocking fee from 15% to 25%. This either covers the cost of repackaging it or this will be the amount we will reduce the product by to re-sell it as b-grade. Faulty products:
All products carry a manufacturers' full 12 month warranty unless stated otherwise. Consumables, such as cartridges and lamps, do not carry a warranty whatsoever. RETURNS AUTHORISATION: Please contact us to obtain a returns number and return address. Unauthorised returns may be rejected. This means your parcel may be returned to you and therefore wasting your money on postage. Please make sure there is a fault: For electrical products, you should check all exterior fuses, there should be one in the plug and there may also be some in the rear of the unit and check the plug for the fuse and any loose wires. PLEASE NOTE: If there is no fault found, some manufacturers have a "no fault found" charge, and may also charge you a carriage charge to deliver the product back to you. We have no control over this; therefore please ensure the manufacturer or ourselves agree that there is a fault before returning the product. Within 14 days: Subject to having available stock to hand, If your product develops a fault within 14 working days we will usually simply replace it once the faulty product has returned to our unit. We do not provide advance replacements. For products under 20Kg we will usually ask you to return the product to us or our supplier and we will refund you for any carriage charges up to a maximum of £10 (including VAT); providing the original postage receipt is supplied to our office. Please note if you do not send us the original postage receipt (not a photocopy), we will not refund your postage costs. After 14 days: Depending on your product's manufacurers' warranty policy, we may either ask you to send your product directly back to the manufacturer or back to our service centre for repair. In either instance you must contact us first to arrange a return.
